Physical and Mental Health
The goal of Physical and Mental Health is to fulfill the initiatives identified by Grand Chapter within our local Greater Dayton community and to educate our Dayton Alumnae members about health issues that disproportionately affect Black women. The associated committee strives to raise awareness about the importance and benefits of healthy lifestyle changes that affect our health and wellness on a daily basis.
Our Committee brings awareness to health issues, develops, and implements health and wellness related programs through partnering with local and national organizations such as the Dayton/Montgomery County Public Health, Premier Health, The American Heart Association, The American Red Cross, and the National Council of Negro Women. Our goal is to enhance awareness surrounding mental, physical, and spiritual health, and the ways that they connect.
We want the communities we serve, and our members to make healthier choices, engage in meaningful dialogue and practices surrounding health and wellness.
Our Chapter Programs Include:
- World Mental Health Day
